Maddy Hague is an art director, graphic designer, and photo stylist based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, and three feisty cats.

Senior Graphic Designer, Sleep Number
2015 - Present
Lead the art direction and design of Sleep Number's social media channels. Concept, style, photograph, and occasionally animate custom creative on Sleep Number's Instagram feed. Lead and execute the redesign of Sleep Number's bed-in-a-box brand, the it™ bed, including event design and collateral, email design, social media design, and digital display ad design.  Work on high level projects as needed including designing the Sleep Number Intranet logo, designing the employee branded swag package for Sleep Number's new headquarters, designing and developing the initial rebrand of the Sleep Number's recruitment team.

Work with clients on various branding and web needs, including website and blog designs, logos, and various other collateral. Served as contributing writer and designer to various media outlets, specializing in DIY tutorials, entertaining advice, and home decor inspiration.

Develop branding, web presence, photo style, and product designs for a boutique line of party and office supplies. Photograph and style product images. Manage and execute all PR, wholesale, and business development aspects of the company.

2014 - 2015
Oversaw the design and art direction of Best Buy's Mobile Buyer's Guide. Managed a team of production artists who execute the guide's non-creative updates. Designed creative for the digital insert (online weekly ad) and several high profile web banner campaigns.

2012 - 2014
Concept, design, craft, and style tutorials and larger inspirational vignettes for ongoing editorial content. Design the site's ongoing branding and format updates and partner with our web developer to implement the changes. Provide graphic design support as needed for projects and inspiration shoots.

Art Director, Target Corporation
2006 - 2012
Managed all art direction for the company's seasonal packaging program and lead any support art directors on an as-needed basis. Concepted, designed, and art directed a large variety of marketing materials across all store departments, including signage, catalogs, packaging, and other collateral. Concepted and designed gift cards for the company's award-winning GiftCard program (including a Holiday 2011 Gift Card that earned a patent for the company, listing me as an inventor).
